Until the nineteenth century the country was ruled by different dynasties and after independence was invaded by different foreigners. Kyrgyzstan became part of the Russian Empire in the late 19th century. In 1924, it became an autonomous region of the Soviet Union. In 1936, it was granted the status of a Soviet republic. In August 1991, it emerged as an independent nation and gradually a democratic government was established. In 1993, a new constitution was passed.

The country of about 2 lakh square kilometers has a population of about 6 million. 63% of the total population is Muslim. The official dialects of Kyrgyzstan are Kyrgyz (national) and Russian (official). The Kyrgyz are a Muslim Turkish nation. They make up the majority of Kyrgyzstan’s population. Uzbeks and Russians are significant minorities here. The currency of the country is called – Som (KGS).

The country is divided into seven provinces, consisting of several districts and governed by a governor. The city of Bishkek is the capital and largest city of the country. Bishkek covers a total area of ​​about 492 square miles. The second largest city is Osh. The country plays an important role in trade through the Silk Route.

The Kyrgyzstan education system is one of the best education systems for the children’s bright future. Kyrgyzstan government offers free basic education to all its citizens in the government educational institutions. The Government makes sure that everyone must attend schools, beginning with the Primary Education (Age 6-10), Secondary Education (10-15).

Students who attain good marks are offered free education at the Secondary Specialized, Vocational, and Higher levels of education.

The Ministry acts as the Central Administrative body of the National Education System of Kyrgyzstan. The Education System in Kyrgyzstan is classified into several divisions for General Education, Higher Education, and Material support. It Includes Primary Education, Middle Education, Secondary Education, Vocational Education, and Tertiary Education.

Primary Education – Is a compulsory education until grade 9. The education provided in the State institutions in Kyrgyzstan is free to all children. Primary Education Consist of 4 years from age 6-9

Vocational Education – Vocational education is normally for people who prepare to work as the Technician or any other Jobs. This course is offered to those who have completed their lower level of Secondary Education.

Tertiary Education – This includes a higher level of education such as Undergraduate, Post Graduate, and Doctorate. It is usually a course of 5-6 years. The MBBS course is also included in this section, It is known as one of the top educational programs in Kyrgyzstan.
