GENERAL INFORMATION
Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn (KNU) is registered with the Ministry of Education & Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, located in Bishkek city (capital). Established on 25 October 1925, it is the oldest and largest public university in Kyrgyzstan.
The institution is meant for training qualified specialists across many countries including Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Nigeria, China, USA, Turkey, and others. More than 26,000 students are studying under 1,700 faculty and staff in 16 faculties and 86 departments.
The university emphasizes modern training programs, research, and international collaboration. The Faculty of Medicine, in partnership with Yenepoya University (India) since September 2023, offers a 6‑year MD program with USMLE, UKMLE, and NMC-compliant curriculum.

FEE STRUCTURE
Fee Structure of 2024 session in Kyrgyz National University are as follows:
1st semester
- Admission: 300 USD
- Invitation, E-Visa fees: 250 USD
- Tuition Fees: 2000 USD
- Airport Pickup, Documents Notarization, University and police registration, Library, Student Card, Contract etc.: 1500 USD
- 1st semester TOTAL: 4050 USD
2nd semester to final semester
- Tuition fees: 2000 USD / Semester
Hostel & Mess is compulsory for 1st year students, is not included in above fee structure. Hostel fee per semester 450 USD and Mess fee per semester 550 USD (3 times halal food).
*Hostel Security Deposit 50 USD (Refundable when leave the hostel)
*Student will pay the First Semester Fee on arrival in USD.
*Visa Extension 150 USD / Year separate.

ADMISSION PROCESS
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Minimum age to apply is 17 years by 31 December of the admission year. Minimum 60% marks required in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English in HSC (or equivalent).

10th and 12th class mark sheets and certificates, Passport, Current passport size photo (white background)

ADMISSION PROCESS

STEP-1

STEP-3
Deposit your Visa invitation and E-Visa fees to the university. After the payment, your Invitation and Visa will be issued within 10-15 working days.
STEP-4
Now you have your student Visa, invitation letter, and admission letter issued by the university. It is time to take a flight to Kyrgyzstan to make your dream come true.
NOTE:
Students usually think that if they do not have a passport, then the registration process is not possible. This is not true, as you can still register without a passport. Passport is mandatory only for Visa application, so you can submit your passport after receiving the admission letter if your passport is not ready before.
